How to Apply

Apply to CSOP with the CMU Extended Ed Form

Please complete the online form linked above. After the form is received, you will receive an email with instructions to pay the course fees. Only once course fees have been processed, you will be registered in your course. All applications must be made using the online form; a paper or pdf forms will not be available this year.

All applications must be received before April 1 to avoid the non-refundable late fee of $50. Late applications may be accepted, space permitting.

Once a class is full, any further participants may join a waiting list, or may be registered in their second choice, if indicated on the application form, until a space opens in their first choice. In past years, some CSOP courses have filled up, so apply early to ensure your place in the course of your choice.

For 2021 only, INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS (not already in Canada) will only be registered for online participation (using Zoom) in classes. We will NOT be issuing CSOP letters of invitation addressed to Canadian embassies or consulates, in support of travel visa applications. Online participation only for participants requiring visas to travel to Canada has been instituted because we anticipate that international travel from most regions will still be restricted in June 2021, due to the ongoing COVID pandemic. We hope to again offer regular in-person CSOP courses in 2022, and to welcome international participants to CMU to participate.

Because of payment processing times, we will not accept international applications after May 31.

CMU STUDENTS who are already admitted to a degree program should register through their Student Portal by April 1. Late registrations may be accepted.

Please contact csop@cmu.ca if you have problems or questions with the registration process.
